The 25.6 Data Release includes data from the following studies:
Human data
Shotgun Metagenomics Analysis of the Gut Microbiome in ILO (ILOMGS)
The study provides data from 220 samples including 78 centenarian samples (over 100 years of age) and 148 younger samples (50-99). The samples were collected as part of the Integrative longevity Omics (ILO) study. DNA extraction and shotgun metagenomics sequencing were performed on the samples for taxonomic profiling. Data in this release consists of shotgun metagenomics sequencing data from the 220 samples.
ILO Blood Transcriptomics (Batch 1)
This study release includes transcriptomics data of 399 blood samples from participants enrolled in the Integrative Longevity Omics project – Identifying protective omics profiles in centenarians and translating these into preventive and therapeutic strategies.
Non-Human data
This study indexes data from the BioProject repository, drawing on a cross-species investigation into how gene expression patterns relate to differences in mammalian lifespan. It uses comparative transcriptomics to identify molecular pathways linked to longevity.
- This release provides RNA sequencing data from 26 mammalian species, enabling analysis of genes whose expression correlates with lifespan, and highlights the role of circadian and pluripotency networks in regulating longevity.
